D & E maintains the highest safety standards possible.  As a charter member of the Steel Erectors Safety Association of Colorado ( SESAC ), we take an active role in shaping the course of Ironworker safety in Colorado, as well as the nation.

D & E Steel is proud to be an AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) Quality Certified Steel Erector.

The AISC Quality Certification program ensures our customers that we have the proper quality and safety procedures in place to complete our scope of work.

As of September 2005, there were only 90 certified steel erectors in the U.S. 

As of August 2007, we are still one of 5 companies based in the state of colorado to be AISC Certified.
This puts D & E Steel in a unique position to provide our customers with quality work of the highest standard.
